Meet the Doctors
Dr. Carlos Chaban M.D.
Dr. Carlos Chaban has been serving Central Florida as a general pediatrician for over 20 years. Dr. Chaban completed his residency in pediatrics at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. He then relocated to the University of Florida and did a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Disease and Immunology, where he received recognition for outstanding services. Dr. Chaban founded Hunt Club Pediatric Associates in 1999 and has staff privileges at most Central Florida Hospitals. Dr. Chaban is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, traveling and playing golf.
Carrie Verhoff A.R.N.P.
Carrie earned her BSN from Florida International University in Miami. She spent 12 years working as a pediatric and neonatal nurse before pursuing her graduate degree. She earned her Master of Nursing from FIU in 1997. She is nationally certified by the ANCC specializing in pediatric primary care. Carrie Is married and enjoys cycling, walker her dog, and exploring Central Florida.
Andrea Roberts M.S.N., C.R.N.P.
Andrea Roberts, MSN, ARNP is a native Floridian. She attended undergraduate school at Samford University in Homewood, AL which is a prestigious private Southern Baptist college. She attended graduate school at The University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL (UAB) where she earned her Master’s Degree in Pediatric Primary Health Care. She is Board Certified with the Pediatric Nursing Certification and has 15+ years in pediatric primary health care, pediatric and adolescent mental health, and school health in Mobile, AL and Biloxi MS.
In Andrea’s spare time she enjoys traveling, kayaking, boating, fishing and camping with her family and children. She also enjoys working with stained glass. Her best friends forever, “Baylie” and “Baybie” (two tiny Yorkie’s) keep her company after work. She enjoys attending “Church at the Springs” on Sundays, as well as helping out on medical mission trips to various countries whenever possible.
Dr. Christian Chaban M.D.
Dr. Christian Chaban has been living in Central Florida for over twenty years. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Chaban received his medical degree from the prestigious St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in beautiful Grand Cayman Island. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida with his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology in 2009. Since a young age it has always been a dream of Dr. Christian Chaban to join Hunt Club Pediatrics and work alongside his father, Dr. Carlos Chaban. In his free time, Dr. Chaban enjoys spending time with family, grilling, boating, fishing, traveling, and going to the beach.
Dr. David Hale M.D.
Dr. Hale has been with Hunt Club Pediatrics since July 2014. Before this, he attended Medical School at Ross University and did his residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for children. Dr. Hale is originally from Miami Florida. He is a compassionate practitioner, who looks forward to taking care of your newest loved ones. Dr. Hale enjoys spending time on the weekends with his wife and three children.
